We stand behind the quality of our plugins. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, we offer a straightforward refund policy.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a full refund within 30 days of your purchase if:
- The plugin doesn't work as described in our documentation
- You experience technical issues that our support team cannot resolve
- The plugin is not compatible with your WordPress setup and we cannot provide a solution
- You're simply not satisfied with the product
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please:
- Email us at support@reallysimplewp.app
- Include your order number or email address used for purchase
- Briefly explain the reason for your refund request
We'll process your refund within 5-7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
What Happens After a Refund
Once a refund is processed:
- Your license key will be deactivated
- You will no longer receive plugin updates
- Access to support will be terminated
- Dashboard access (for Really Simple Updates) will be removed
However, because our plugins are GPL-licensed, you may continue to use the version you downloaded. You just won't receive updates or support.
Renewals
Subscription renewals are also eligible for refunds within 30 days of the renewal charge if you did not intend to renew or are dissatisfied with the service.
To avoid unwanted renewals, you can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Exceptions
Refunds may not be available in the following cases:
- Requests made more than 30 days after purchase
- Abuse of the refund policy (multiple purchases and refunds)
- Issues caused by third-party plugins, themes, or custom code
- Server or hosting environment issues outside our control
- Failure to follow plugin documentation or setup instructions
Chargebacks
Please contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider. Chargebacks are expensive for small businesses and often unnecessary.
If you file a chargeback instead of requesting a refund through our support team, your account and licenses may be permanently terminated.
GPL and Refunds
Because our plugins are GPL-licensed, you have the right to use and modify them even after a refund. However, you will not receive:
- Future updates to the plugin
- Technical support from our team
- Access to our dashboard or monitoring features
- Any premium features that require an active license
